TN-Multisports-Teresa-Nelson

Teresa Webb is the founder and owner of TN Multisports. With over 12 years of triathlon coaching experience, her years of dedication to athletics have helped her define her career and goals around a multisport lifestyle. She grew up in Port Orchard, WA, where her parents started her in gymnastics at the age of four. Years of flips and falls finally landed her in the pool at the age of 10. By the age of 15 she was competing at the national level and eventually received a collegiate swimming scholarship to the University of Nevada, Reno.

During her youth she was instructed by world famous swim coach Dick Hannula, author of Coaching Swimming Successfully and the the Swim Training Bible. In addition to help people become better cyclists and runners, Teresa guides many new triathletes to feeling comfortable in the open water and helps experienced triathletes make improvements in their open water swimming times and abilities.

In 2000, Teresa completed a degree in Fitness Management and became certified as an ACSM Health Fitness Instructor, an NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Pilates Instructor through the Pilates Studio New York, and a USAT Level II triathlon coach. She continues to advance her training via ongoing webinars, mentorship programs, education, and maintaining her certifications.

Her first triathlon experience was Danskin 2001.  She has since raced in multiple 70.3 and Ironman events, including the Ironman World Championships in Kona twice.  Teresa began racing as a professional in 2010. She later went on to win the Irongirl event in 2012. Since then, Teresa has welcomed a beautiful baby girl into her family, is on the board for the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), and continues to thrive in her passion of multisport through her athletes hard work and dedication.
