Elizabeth started running in college. She started with 5Ks and transitioned to longer distances races in 2002.She loves both the challenge of training and racing as well as the friends she’s made along the way.
Eventually Elizabeth’s love of running introduced her to Teresa Nelson through the Seattle Athletic Club in 2008. She went on to join TNMultisports, making friends and running buddies and solidifying her love of sport. Many running races and PR’s later, Elizabeth was inspired to try triathlon by the amazing TN Multisports athletes and coaches. She conquered her first sprint triathlon in 2010 and has since completed longer distance triathlons, including Ironman in 2014. Elizabeth continues to be inspired by her teammates and coaches, so much so that she received her USAT Level I coaching certification in 2012.
In 2014, Elizabeth trained hard and had phenomenal performance while completing her first Ironman at Coeur d’Alene.
An RRCA certified coach, Elizabeth also loves to evangelize the values she has learned through sport and TN Multisports by getting involved in charity running programs. Helping TN Multisports teammates reach their goals continues to inspire Elizabeth to reach hers.
